The event started with a number of welcome speeches and several short pitches from organizations, policy makers and projects, which each introduced a particular issue for Arctic Youth.
These topics revolved around:

- Climate Adaptation: Benefits and Challanges (led by University of Lapland)
- Climate Intervention and how they can be used (led by Operaatio Arktis)
- Climate Change and Urban Planning (led by Reykjavík City Council)
- Climate Change and Community Engagement (led by Hólar University and the Icelandic Museum of Natural History)
After these presentations, the participants engaged with each other in fruitful discussions on one of the topics. At the end of the event, participants were encouraged to share their (policy) recommendations to solving the issue with the rest of the attendees.
